The 2026 summer meet at Del Mar ended on Labor Day. Next on the calendar is the fall Bing Crosby Season, from Friday, November 6, to Sunday, November 29, 2026. The dates come from the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club season calendar. Our Del Mar racing season private transportation covers both meets. The fall meet is shorter than the summer season and falls in the holiday period. That makes it a natural fit for year-end client outings and family gatherings. Del Mar lists first post at 12:30 p.m. Gates open 1 1/2 hours before first post. We set your pickup time from those two markers.
The season closes with the FanDuel Racing Turf Festival from November 26 to 29, 2026. It starts on Thanksgiving Day. On Thanksgiving, first post moves earlier, to 11 a.m., so pickups move earlier too.
A holiday race day with family visiting from out of town is a natural booking. Everyone travels together, and nobody has to drive after a long afternoon. If your group plans to attend Thanksgiving weekend, reserve those dates first.
Del Mar sits in San Diego County, so a race day from Orange County or Los Angeles is a long round trip. We time your pickup from the gate opening and first post. Want brunch along the coast first? For the ride home, agree on a pickup time after the last race you plan to watch. You can also keep the car on an hourly booking if dinner in Del Mar or Solana Beach is part of the day. Guests staying the night can add chauffeured evenings around San Diego for the rest of the weekend.
The summer season is Del Mar’s main event. In 2026 it ran from July through early September. We add the next summer dates here as soon as the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club announces them. Popular summer stakes days are when early booking matters most, especially for groups that need a larger vehicle.
Race days work well for hosting clients. You get a fixed start, a relaxed setting and natural breaks for conversation. Companies booking several guests keep everything under one account for client hosting. We coordinate pickups from different offices or hotels into one arrival.
A friends’ outing works the same way with a single vehicle. One pickup order leads to one arrival at the gates and one ride home. If your group also follows racing closer to home, we drive race days at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia too.
Start with the kind of day you want. A small group of friends or clients rides comfortably in a Cadillac Escalade, which seats six. A celebration calls for the Lincoln MKT Stretch Limousine, with ice wells, a bar and fiber optic lighting.
Larger family groups on a holiday race day often pick a Mercedes-Benz Executive Sprinter. Its reclining leather seats suit a long ride for up to 13 guests.
